• The muse

  • My muse has taken a back seat lately due to these busy times. This is the start of the Christmas season and many craft shows will be filled with people from every walk of life. Some young and some old.
As I finished sitting up my booth and the crowds began filling in the aisles my attention was drawn to one particular person in the crowd.
Dressed in casual attire with a short sleeved sport shirt and denim trousers with a wide black leather belt he looked a lots like the rest of the people in the crowd. He was about 5'-5 and stocky built and wearing a cropped hair cut and looked very familiar.
As I watched him I began to realize the reason my attention was drawn to him. I did not realize at the time that he was famous, are at least a well know from the past . But, that as he moved about appeared as someone I knew very well and as he went to each booth and spoke to the crafter I knew and felt a strange feeling come over me. When he stood in front of my booth I was shocked beyond belief. My whole life flashed before my eyes and I became speechless. ( No it was not Elvis) I was seeing me.
Yes myself. As I might have been without the grace and the power of---- of love. ----------to be continued.
PS My craft is making Horse tire swings
