OBEY MY VOICE AND I WILL BE YOUR GOD....... .

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.
 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
But this thing commanded I them, saying, OBEY MY VOICE AND I WILL BE YOUR GOD, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and WENT BACKWARD, AND NOT FORWARD....Jer.7:21-24

WOW!...WOW!!..... How could they have gone backward busy offering sacrifices and burnt offerings?  Was it not the LORD that requested that the offerings and sacrifices be brought to Him in the first place?.... yet He said this was not his commandment to their fathers in the day that He brought them out of the land of Egypt !!!

Beloved, may it not be too late before you realize that as for God,......Obedience is far better than sacrifices.....
You can not replace religious observances of ordinances and rituals with obeying His voice!
it is never too late to start listening, hearing and obeying. The sorrow of disobedience far outweighs the pains of obedience. You may never know what you have missed or are missing living a disobedient lifestyle until it is too late.
Abraham obeyed His voice and he was so blessed. (Gen. 22:17) Isaac was charged and reminded that the key to Abraham’s blessing was his obedience to His voice. (Gen. 26:4-5)

The Lord God rejected religious offering and demanded that Israel obey His voice. It is costly to neglect the voice of the Holy Spirit within you while getting busy with religious practices!!
